Rough cut Eastern Ash timber used to build the press
Crosscut Hardwoods in Seattle is home to lots and lots of beautiful wood. I wanted to build the press from a solid piece of wood, photograph the process and put it online but my hard drive broke…actually physically broke and all was lost. But from a piece of wood like this in the picture you too can build a cider press. I did use a piece of plywood for the tray.
